Drawing influence from music, color, culture and his proud,first-generation American family from Mexico City, Lopez consistently awaitshis next opportunity to create, whether it arises behind the chair, on set,with celebs, in a collaboration or for private clients, New York Fashion Weekand special occasions. With a strong international point of view, his influenceand training has shaped his eye and molded his career.

Ron Lopez is currently co-owner and educational director for El Salon, a well-known and respected establishment in Denver that is continually ranked in the toptwenty L’oreal Professionnel Salons. At El Salon, Lopez works to share theknowledge imparted on him through twenty-one years of industry experience andto build a strong, creative team that continues setting industry standards. Through El Salon's commitment to continued education and innovation, Ron has had considerable opportunities to travel throughout the United States andEngland to train with top hair-care brands. Ron’s love for L’OrealProfessionnel drew him into taking a role as an LP Artist. In addition to his leadership role and professional experience, he has been part of the L’OrealProfessionnel Soho Academy Finishing Team, helping to create and facilitate advanced curriculum.

Recently, being part of the North American Hairstyling Awards 2017 Team of the Year.  Also named Southwest Hairstylist of the Year and Colorado Hairstylist of the Year, Ron's work has been featured in American Salon, Estetica Online, Behindthechair.com, Beauty Underground and 303Magazine. He was also featured on the NAHA stage for the 2016 and 2017awards in Las Vegas. Working on set with 303 Magazine for five years,Lopez was a member of the 303 Magazine editorial team as fashion andbeauty editor. Ron has styling and team-lead experience with many seasons of NYFW and Denver Fashion Week.  He received his formal training at the Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy.
